Sweet potato fries :)

Tonight I was tired from going back to work, so I wanted to stick with something easy.  The grilled cheese I had the other day was so delicious, I decided to make it again, as well as some sweet potato fries – it was the perfect dinner!  The grilled cheese was American, turkey, and spinach, and the trick to my sweet potato fries is adding a lot of spice – I add a handful of chili powder, a sprinkle of garlic powder, some Montreal steak seasoning, and S&P.  I’ve tried making them with sweet seasonings before, but that just doesn’t do it for me.  I got a free copy of Cuisine at Home in the mail, which I ATTEMPTED to read during dinner, but ended up spending most of my time fending off the world’s worst behaved dog.  Sorry Lando (she’s losing her puppy teeth) – tonight you were HORRIBLE! :(

And I snacked on two devil’s food cookies while I was waiting for the fries :)

Here is Miss Mischief supervising my blogging…

Awww what a sweet baby. :D Have you tried nylabones (the inedible kind) and kongs?

I love chili powder on my sweet potatoes too and I also add a wee pinch of cinnamon, it pairs nicely with the chili powder and just gives it a little something extra in the background.
