Does any else say that? I say it a lot, it is my favorite expression of frustration, excitement, you name it! It’s just a fun phrase to exclaim. Say it next time you drop something all over the floor, or get a huge bill you weren’t expecting at a restaurant. It’s fun.
I have been so busy the past few days – where has this week gone???
Let me catch you up on things – as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Breakfast – spicy oats. You know what they look like, so I’m not even giving you a picture.

Okay – I lied. I gave you a picture. But just so you could see how well I’m doing with Bobbi’s TSL challenge – I already forgot this morning and bought a Starbucks coffee : ( (can you see my inbox piling up in the background?)
Lunch has been all over the place lately since I didn’t do a completely Aldi trip last weekend.
Random, mostly involving some sort of soy:

Thursday:

Friday:

An array of stunningly beautiful fruit salads as afternoon snacks (I should quit my job and be a prep chef – no?)

aerial view:

more:

Different snack, Simple Harvest Granola Bar with crunch Barney Butter on top!

Dinners been just as random – and definitely not well rounded. I don’t think I’ve had all the food groups in a single dinner this week!
Random Dinner 1 – hot dogs, sweet potato and chickpeas (this looks like a crazy amount of food, but the whole plate wasn’t even 400 calories!!!):

Random Dinner 2 – tofu by itself:

and tonight, Random Dinner 3: crab salad on bread – BORING!

Consider yourselves caught up – I don’t know how you made it through your Wednesday and Thursday not knowing what I ate, but I’m glad you did!
Tomorrow is INSANE for me!!!!
- wake up EARLY, eat breakfast, chug coffee
- run 9 miles
- rush, shower, change, eat, pick up my cousin for “birthday bowling & ice cream”
- do aforementioned bowling and ice cream eating
- go straight to other cousin’s 1st communion party
- play “family time” at 1st communion party
- go to my parents house, play more “family time” with other side of the family
- sleep (or pass out depending on how much wine has been consumed)
Have a great weekend!!!

I had a hot dog/La Tortiila quesadilla salad for lunch today. Love me some artificial meat products some days

I’ve been having some random meals myself since I’m trying to clean out the pantry and freezer. I like to think of it as a plate from a crazy old school Sizzler type buffet.
I’ve never heard that expression, but I won’t be surprised if I hear it come out of my mouth. That’s too funny.

I’m quite a fan of “Christ on a cracker”… which then brought about a comment from a friend “I thought Christ WAS the cracker!” And my response: “I dunno, I’m Jewish!” HA! Ok, that was random.

My equivalent to “Christ on a bike” would either be “Christ on a cracker” or “Holy Mother” – I use the latter almost daily.
Granola bar w/BB looks incredible!

Hey darlin,
I love dinners that are HUGE for tiny number of calories. More food=more time to munch mais oui?
And I have to say that veggie dog, chickpea, sweet potato combo is all new to me. ;P

I’ve never even heard christ on a bike! The things I shout are much more obscene.
