Ad Sales Picnic

I’m not sure who was more excited this morning, for Take Your Dog to Work Day – me, or Lando:

I’ll have the most dog filled post yet for you tomorrow!

Yesterday was a pretty cool day at work as well – so we’ll stick to that for this post!

Breakfast – Magic Bullet presents: Ruby Slipper!

Yesterday was our first “Ad Sales Picnic” – we headed out to the field outside our building:

First, we were treated to Chipotle by our bosses!

My “bol” – Vegetarian with black beans, fajita veggies, corn salsa, tomato salsa, lettuce, and guac! I ate every last bite – and wanted to lick the bowl!

Then the friendly competition began, there was Corn Hole (is that just the OHIO name for it???)…

…Hillbilly Horse Shoes, and a Trivia Game about our department (which I TOTALLY dominated).

Then we headed inside and had a surprise shower for one of the guy’s on the team (his wife is pregnant).

All in all – a VERY NICE day at work!

When I got home – I went on a 4 mile walk with Kristin (7 miles logged yesterday in total – not too shabby!) When I got home, I definitely wanted something to eat for dinner – but the idea of anything warm just did NOT sound good. Instead – I went with half a cantaloupe:

Which I know doesn’t really count as a meal – but it was the quickest and easiest (and COLDEST) option I could find.

Then I headed over to my parents to drop off a card for my brother – whose recovering from his MILLIONTH knee surgery (okay – I think it’s just the 4th – but still, 4 knee surgeries before the age of 25??). He asked for some ice cream, so my Mom and I happily obliged, and headed up to the local ice cream shop. I decided I was not going to get anything – because I was sure nothing would be “Clean Life” approved.

Then – I saw – that they had – RASPBERRY SWIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah – life’s too short to pass up that sort of deliciousness!

Okay – gotta jet – Lando and I need to pull our TPS report!

What do you think about your magic bullet. If I have to wash my blender one more time I think I might throw it out the window. I was thinking about getting a magic bullet but I wanted to make sure it is worth. I know it’s not that expensive, but I’m cheap!!

I’ve never even heard of CornHole until I moved here. Brand new game to me! Admittedly hillbilly horseshoes is not my cup of tea. I don’t normally like tossing balls around in front of polite company.

I am getting Chipotle tonight after that beastly and beautiful bowl of yos!!! Life is too short to pass up ice cream and Chipotle corn salsa and guac goodness!!

Looks like Dairy View to me. Orange Swirl is the best!!!

TAKE YOUR DOG TO WORK DAY?! jeallllous! when my little bean was a puppy i actually got to have her here at work for 2 weeks. but now that she is a little rambunctious pill she cant come anymore. i bet that was fun for you! cant wait to see the dog filled post, i think i like those posts better than food ones, ha!

The only reason I know what Corn Hole is, is because of my family in Ohio! Ha! Don’t play it down here in Memphis. I definitely would have gone for the ice cream too!

My cousin’s from Chicago call it corn hole! What a fun work party!!
