Review: [me]&goji | Green Dog Wine

I was contacted last week by someone from [me]&goji – asking if I’d like to try their product.

OF COURSE I was all to happy to except – I’m always up for trying food!

When I checked out their website – I GOT EVEN MORE EXCITED!!!

They have over 50 ingredients you can add to your cereal mix, which lends to millions of combinations! Everything is healthy, and low calorie – and they have plenty of gluten free options as well.

I spent about 20 minutes making my creation (I could have been faster, but I was having so much fun doing it) – and within3 days – this was at my door!

The name of my mix? Green Dog Goji!

I selected the following options along the way:

Base: Flaked & Flaxed (gluten free corn flakes with amaranth, flax seeds, seasame seeds)
Nut/Seed Add-ins: Multigrain O’s, chia seeds, amaranth
Fruit Add-ins: Dried strawberries, dried goji berries, dried

There was A TON of dried fruit, which was great – I was worried they might be skimpy with the fruit – but that wasn’t the case!

Verdict?

The taste was amazing – because I was able to cater the entire selection to my favorite tastes. The size of the tube is actually quite large (it’s hard to tell in this picture) – so you definitely get what you pay for!

I’d absolutely order this stuff again. I might leave out the goldenberries next time. I wanted to try them this time (I’ve never had them before) – but they were pretty tart – and had an anise taste to them, which I’m not a fan of.

Overall – TWO BIG PAWS UP!

Your spicy oats fascinae me, especially since I’m a sucker for hot sauce! Growing up, my favorite meal has ALWAYS been anything covered in buffalo sauce! Do you have a Houlihans near you? If so, try the buffalo chicken salad! You won’t be sorry!

I ordered mine over a week ago and haven’t received it yet. I live 45 minutes from NH so I am wondering if there was a problem? I am SO looking forward to trying this and was hoping to have it as a giveaway on my blog as soon as I get my own!

hmmm, just went to their site…looks good. i just love creating cereal messes though, so no matter what i put in that mix, i would prob end up having to add in more once poured a bowl. i love it when there are different things in each and every bite.

Yum…that sounds delicious! Love the dried fruit pic. How much did you feel like you had to eat to keep you full? I used to love cereal, but felt like it didn’t keep me full long unless I ate a huge serving. I’m wondering if healthier, more fibrous cereals like this will work better.
