Is it unseasonably cold where you live?!?! This morning, I swear it was almost as low as 45 degrees when I woke up – which is WAY cold for the end of August!!!
Summer left Cleveland like a bat outta hell!
Speaking of bats….
Sunday morning – I had a 5:45am wake up call – for my 20 mile bike date with Kristin! Luckily – we scheduled our meeting early enough that we got in 17 miles before the sky opened up and started to POUR. Unluckily enough – I watched too much TrueBlood Saturday night – and was convinced something (or someone!) was going to jump out of the bushes and “get me”, my entire ride to meet Kristin. Not so much this:

As this:

Yeah – I’m 27. Scared of Vampires. Good for me.
After our bike ride – I came home and made a piece of toast and a banana with some PB:

This was my first time trying out these bananas (and some of you may call my opinion of bananas from THIS post):

I LOVED these! It really is all about the consistency for me! I don’t mind the banana flavor (I <3 Banana Bread!) – but squishy bananas = gagging in my opinion. These flattened bananas were nice and leather and chewy – RIGHT up my alley!
Then I headed off to the gym to try out another new class: Centergy – a combination of pilates, yoga, tai chi and a few other things. This class got two big thumbs up in my book. It was challenging, but I knew what was going on – AND BOY AM I SORE TODAY!
Once I got home – I really wasn’t hungry – so instead, Mike and I split two huge pots of coffee (hello caffeine buzz) - and since it was raining – I snuggled up on the couch with this muffin:

I just love her to pieces. She is the best cuddle bug around. (this was after she did a number on her new toy!)
Once I finally did feel hungry – it hit me FULL force – and I knew I wanted a combo of carbs, protein and veggies! My falafel wrap the other night was so good, I decided to go ahead and create another one:

Homemade tzakaididitzdidatizditazdiatzki (I loved the way you all spelled it in your comments last time!) sauce, 3 falafel balls, lettuce, hot sauce, and banana peppers, with some hummus and veggies on the side!

So filling, and really damn good!
At dinner time, I was feeling rather uninspired – so when Mike suggested eating “delicious things” (GDW household translation = eating outside the house) – I happily agreed. Final decision: Chipotle!

I’ll be honest – this bowl was gross. I don’t know what it was – but I just wasn’t feeling it. I did end up eating about 3/4ths (I should have stopped at about 1/4th) but finally had to call it quits. I’m not sure what was off – but it was FAR less delicious than normal Chipotle.
While indulging in my newest Sunday night guilty pleasure – I was struck with the feeling of some blog inspiration, so I headed into the kitchen – and made a treat with the ingredients below:

It won’t be ready to eat until tonight – but you’ll see the finished product soon!!!! But OH.MY.WORD – if it tastes anything like the “batter” tasted – well, I’ve already died and gone to heaven, I’m sure!
Last, but certainly not least - I leave you with this handsome devil:

Landy’s been getting so much blog love lately – I wanted to make sure my #1 love got some too! Isn’t he just the sexiest law student around?! I love the way he looks when he is concentrating!!
Hope you are having a great Monday!

Frozen cherries = hell yes (since I recommended that brand to you, hahaha).

It was super cold here today too, and dark! However, I’ll take it over the humidity any day of the year. Fall is coming!

A man concentrating is a great look, I agree!
Too bad about the chipotle bowl, I’ve never had a bad one! Nick has though, and he swore he would never go back, but he did about a week ago after not eating there for about three months!
It’s cold here too, but only in the mornings. I am sure it’s colder in Cleveland than it is here in C-bus, but it’s only a high of about 75, with no humidity, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I just bought some of those flattened bananas, but packed them to move already so it may be a while until I get to them, but now I can’t wait, maybe with some almond butter?

Do you know how much you and I have in common? Both watched scary shows last night (District 9, ew), both had Chiptole (but mine was good, both married to hot scholarly legal types (but mine can defend me in a court of law). Your wrap is also making me want some Pita Pit…awesome! And my baby(ies) might be just a little cuter than yours

Yeah I know what you mean about Fall – what is the deal? I can’t say I hate it though and with the first OSU game this weekend it feels like football weather. Plus being back to school makes me want crappy weather so I am not sad I am missing out –
Great job on the ride!!
I’m going to have to pick up some ball to make those delicious wraps!

Sorry about the sub-par Chipotle bowl. You should send the CEO a strongly-worded letter encouraging better quality control for the Chipotle name!
Also, your hubs and dog are the cutest!

It was 46 degrees this morning in the general Chicago area…and of course we had every window in the house open! I woke up to 2 very snuggly dogs and a very snuggly hubby trying to keep warm! :>

Sorry to hear about the Chipotle. The first time (and only time!) I tried it, it wasn’t so tasty either
But I am willing to check it out again due to all the yummy blogger posts =)
Your falafel wrap on the other hand, looks deeeelicious! Same with that dessert. Sadly, I don’t have frozen cherries on hand, otherwise I would make it right now, haha. Must get them on my next trip to TJ’s or some other grocery store!

Have you gotten sucked into True Blood yet? I’m sad that I finished the first season but have Dexter Season 3 coming next so I have that to look forward too.

Those banana thingys look really good! I’ll have to see if I can find them.
AND, OMG you have the most adorable dog! Is she (he?) a puggle?
