Blech!!! We are two for two in Cleveland as of right now for rainy, dreary, overcast weekend days. While I love an excuse to stay cuddled up inside – it doesn’t do much for your motivation!
Friday eats – because I just can’t get caught up!
Blueberry Chobani and Cheerios:

Friday worked out pretty well - we were down to NOTHING in our fridge (aside from carrots!) so I wasn’t feeling like packing – then I remembered we had a “birthday lunch” for one of my co-workers – SCORE!
We went to “Brew Kettle” which I had never been to before – and we started off with an appetizer because we were starving - spinach and artichoke dip:

The place was pretty low key, so I was really impressed with the quality and the presentation of the food!
For my meal – Buffalo Chicken Wrap (they offer you grilled right up front – I loved that!) – with a huge amount of fries AND coleslaw!

I ended up eating about half of this before I was absolutely stuffed – but all that really meant was – dinner just took care of itself!
I ate the rest of my wrap right before I left work (but didn’t take a picture – it had gotten WAY gross looking) – then headed home to pick up Lando, because my aunt had invited us over to her friend Kelly’s, who lives just around the corner from me. (We’ve gone to hang out there before – here!)
Lando was (of course) a reject again, who didn’t want to stay in the backyard with the other two fun dogs, but wanted to be as close to me as possible.
Examples A-F:
Lando blending in with the rug:

Lando wanting to go inside, for no reason:

Lando, only feeling comfortable chewing her bone ON me:

Trying to pick up the bone, SO that she can chew it on me:

Success!

Rough life, huh?

Kelly’s husband works in glass – and makes some truly unbelievable, and gorgeous stuff! Friday he was working on getting pieces for a new restaurant/bar finished – and I asked if I could snap a picture – I just think what he does is SO fasinating! How cool is this?!?!?:

Awesome, right?!?! I love seeing how things are done!!
Alright kiddos – off to get ready for my Lighthouse Boxer Rescue training – HAPPY SUNDAY!

Your dog is so cute, I can hardly stand it!
Good for you for volunteering with the rescue! I have also volunteered my time for animal welfare causes – it’s so rewarding!

I hear you on the rain sapping all motivation. It rained for a week straight here in Atlanta. I think the entire city was depressed (and flooded, but that’s a different story.) Have fun at the Boxer rescue. I volunteered once at a Golden Retriever rescue.

Oh wow, I do think it’s so impressive what people can do with glass, it’s amazing. I have not one artistic bone in my body, so I’m pretty jealous of some people’s talents!
Not Michael Vick’s dogs though…bastard.
Yeah, a dog’s life is a great life. No cares in the world! Oh to be a dog

Don’t worry, Sadie is a social dog reject too and would have done the same thing. She loves all people though so I think she thinks she’s a human not a dog!

Ha! That’s exactly how Bailey is! Eventually he sort of warms up to the idea of playing with other dogs but that only lasts about 5 minutes. He always ends up with a bone in my lap.

I love Lando! And while I love my dog Ed, he’s not a lap dog even though he thinks he is!
Happy Monday!

Aww Lando just wants to stick with mom! I wish the brat would do that. She BOLTS if I let her down and then runs away from me when I try to pick her up! Hence the nickname the brat
That piece of glass is amazing!!
