Green Dog Wine’s 1st Birthday!

Hi ya’ll!

Green Dog Wine is 1 year old today!!!!

I asked a few days ago what you would like to see, and I loved all the ideas I got – you give so much thought and effort into your comments (I especially loved how many of you associated me, with hot sauce! I take that as a HUGE compliment, is that weird?!). In the end, I figured the most fun for both you and me – would be “highlights” from the year!

First and foremost – thanks for caring about my first post - which was a just 2 boring pictures – a “to-go” salad and a Polar Pop!

As for the rest of the year – well here are the highlights!

My beautiful, fabulous cousin Caroline turned 21!

Spicy Oats made their debut on the blog (and then proceeded to show up over and over and over again!):

I realized “tofu” wasn’t a dirty word, and finally attempted to make my own for the first time in my life:

I went to Charleston, South Carolina, to visit my very most favorite southern gals:

Finally got to meet the infamous Veggie Girl!!!

Celebrated being married to the man of my dreams for 1 whole year! (go ahead, roll your eyes for that comment!)

Tried my 1st Great Lakes Christmas Ale ever! (how I was 26 years old before that happened, I’ll never understand!)

I ran my first race on the blog – The Nakon Foundation Turkey Dash 5k!

I got a horrific haircut (that I’m STILL growing out):

Turned 27!!!! (while being deathly ill!)

Visited our friends in Pennsylvania, Canada:

Signed up for a marathon: (but had to quit because of my foot, as you know)

What a great year you had (minus the deathly ill part and the bad haircut, although it didn’t look that bad)? The picture of your dog at work wins the award for cutest fricken thing ever today…
