Product Review: Greens+

Hiya lovelies!

While I’m out gallivanting around NYC – I thought the least I could do was leave you with a post:wink:

Since my schedule is out of whack with traveling, and I wasn’t sure a “daily eats” post was possible – I thought – “Perfect timing for a product review!”  :)

A month or so ago, I saw Aimee post about Greens+, and I’ll admit, I was intrigued.   So I sent a e-mail to the company, and they happily agreed to send me some product to try.  Just a few days later – I came home to find this sitting on my table:

I’ll be honest – a LOT of the “Green”/”Grass” products out there frighten me.  I don’t even like being outside when someone is cutting the grass.  And you are trying to tell me I ought to be drinking something with grass????  Nu-uh!

But while frightened – I was still intrigued – and when I kept reading the label, I noticed I had received the “Wild Berry Burst” – so I felt a little safer right away.  Adding berries to things hides yucky flavors, right?

The directions are pretty easy – you just need to put 3 tsps into the shaker cup – and fill it with 8oz of cold water, and shake for 10 seconds.

I shook for longer, and added 16oz of water.  Yeah – I’m a rebel:)

All shook up:

My face wasn’t feeling photogenic today – but my hand was camera ready!  Here we are, ready to go:razz:

(I’m making the shaky, “I don’t know” wishy-washy hand signal)

Verdict:

(That’s one big thumbs up – it couldn’t be two because my other hand was needed for the camera!)

This stuff was really good!!! It tasted nice and fruity, with a slightly, barely noticeable earthy undertone.  And I felt “healthy” drinking it – which is always a bonus!

Diane over at Greens+ said she would be happy to send any other readers/bloggers a sample – so if you are interested – drop her a line!    diane@greensplus.com

Thanks Greens+!!!

Sounds interesting. I am wondering if it’s very expensive, because couldn’t you just make this at home? I mean, without the grass I guess, but similar… Either way, I’m glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the review!
