Hiya lovelies!  Happy Labor Day Weekend!

I hope you have a lot of wonderful things scheduled this weekend!!!  As for me – I made it to New Jersey safely, and had an absolute blast in the city yesterday. 

I have SO many awesome pictures from the city (I went to a TON of cool places, and hung out with a TON of cool people – and even got to meet TWO bloggerers!!!) – but since I’m still visiting my friend – I figured I should keep is short and sweet! 

Thursday, knowing I had an VERY full day head of me - I needed to start with the breakfast of champions. And I don’t mean Wheaties. 

Then, at noon – I proceeded to eat the lamest lunch, every made, in the whole entire world:

A flatout with lettuce, and chickpeas.  Seriously – it tasted just as boring as it looked. But – the whole idea was to pack an easy lunch that wouldn’t leave me with Tupperware to take in the car.  BOR-ING!

My friend Angelina and I hit the road RIGHT at 5pm – and made pretty good time from the start.  Around 7pm, we stopped to stretch, use the bathroom, and eat dinner.   Dinner was WAY more impressive than lame-O lunch:

Salt & Vinegar Popchips, Target Fruit Snacks, Diet Dr. Pepper, and a Strawberry & PB sandwich:

Not too shabby for a meal in the car, huh?  This sandwich was awesome!! My friend Kristin came up with the idea last week, and ever since – I’ve been obsessed with trying it.   Yeah – it was fabulous! 

We finally got in around 12:45 – it took us just a little over 7.5 hours (Mapquest said 8, so I was happy) – and we were greeted by this smiling face:

Bently, the white Boxer! It’s nice to have another little wiggly butt around while I’m missing my sweet little bean (I miss you too Mike, don’t worry!!)
