(TWSS)
Wednesday I got up early again and made it to the gym! (I was 4 for 5 this work week – WOOOHOOO!), and came home to this little ball of love:

She’s funny – while I’m gone – she HAS to stay on the couch to watch in the window for me – but as soon as I get home and get some “hello kisses” – she’ll head right back upstairs and crawl under the covers with Mike. What a life, right?! (Most days I want to follow her and do the same thing!)
Breakfast – the love of my food life – spicy oats:
I really love spicy oats after working out in the mornings – it’s like my body is craving that spicy carb/protein mix!
Around noon – I finally broke into another package I got this week (companies have been kind – they know the GDW is a poor, but food lovin’ household! ) - a TON of tea from Celestial Seasonings!

Look at all the different flavors they sent me! I can never find some of the more exotic/fun flavors in stores around here (yeah – thanks Cleveland) – so when they offered to send me some – I HAPPILY TOOK THEM UP ON THE OFFER!
I got:
- Black Cherry Berry
- Sleepytime Vanilla
- Candy Cane Lane (!! I adore their “Peppermint” flavor – I can’t WAIT for this one!)
- Imperial White Peach
- Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride (!!! I’ve been DYING to try this one but haven’t been able to find it!!!!)
- Blueberry Breeze Green Tea (if this taste ANYTHING like their other blueberry teas – I’m sure I will LOVE IT!)
- Madagascar Vanilla Red Tea
To hold me over until lunch – I excitedly broke into – SUGAR COOKIE SLEIGH RIDE!

This was every bit as fabulous as I had imagined! It tasted like a sugar cookie had dissolved in my hot cup of water! This is going to be the perfect treat when I am craving something sweet, but want to keep the calories down! Thanks Celestial Seasonings!!! I can’t wait to try the rest!
Lunch was take-out for my friend Angelina’s ” Department Birthday Lunch”. We ordered from a place called Nate’s (similar to Aladdin’s or Joe’s Deli for you Cleveland-ers) – and I ordered the falafel roll and a side of hummus:

The falafel was TO DIE FOR! Everything inside was fresh and there was a wonderful yogurt sauce that had just the right amount of zing! The hummus – ehhhh. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad. I added some hot sauce and made due – but I would definitely order the falafel roll again!
Much of this week (and next week – ALL OF MY Monday and Tuesday) has been taken up finalizing the plans for our annual work party (called “Yawpfest” – I’ll explain later!). I updated Facebook the other day to say:
4 days until Yawpfest! Get excited AGI-ers!
10 months of hard work, for one day of awesomeness! I feel like I just planned my wedding all over again!
It’s so true! The whole committee has worked so hard planning this (not to mention, keeping up with their regular job, families, lives, etc) – and I’m getting excited – but stressed! Needless to say – my work days have been end up flying by!
The theme is always top secret (and I KNOW some people from work read the blog) – so here’s a sneak peek for ya:

Dinner was super duper lame/boring – I had some grapes while I was waiting for dinner to cook:

Final product – TJ’s Organic Tofu:

This was actually a really yummy (albeit INCREDIBLY LAME) dinner! Sorry my life hasn’t been more exciting lately – there isn’t as much time for partying/fun when you are slammed at work and in bed by 9:30 every night in order to wake up for the gym in the morning!
Any fun plans this weekend? Mine is going to be spent – at the office getting ready for Yawp!
Happy Friday!

You are not alone. If I wasn’t in school, I would beg Mallard to take Snuff and I on vacae even for a weekend! But, I will be spending this weekend studying just like every other one. Unfortunately, Mallard has to work so I won’t be able to study as much a I need to. But, that does mean more time with Ms. Snuffy

I’m so interested in this top secret YapFest….tell us more!
I really want to know what you add to your spicy oats, I want to make them sometime, I never have!
I love the Celestial Seasonings teas. You got a free package of it?? I’m jealous! I’ve never seen Sugar COokie Sleigh Ride, man that sounds great.
This weekend Nick and I are watching my 13 year old brother (making sure he doesn’t have any big middle school basshes at the house). It’ll be fun, and of course, GO BUCKS!
