Maybe it’s the upcoming holiday, or maybe it’s just me – but doesn’t my peanut butter look a little bit like a ghost??

(can you see the dog toy in the bottom left corner of the pic? Lando was sitting right by it – whining like crazy for PB
)
My lunch was almost the entire color spectrum – ROYGBIV Baby!

Ken’s Caesar (mwah mwah Ken!), Mojo PB&J bar, and salad!

As for a snack – well – apparently I was either too busy for one, or I forgot to take a picture! I have no recollection of it either way!
My Mom and I had fun evening plans – we’d been invited to a “Ladies Boutique Night” at Kristin’s parent’s Country Club. Swanky, right?
Really it was just a whole bunch of vendors coming to one central place to make for a prime shopping environment!
I drove over to my Mom’s so we could ride together – and managed to raid her cupboards for the 5 minutes I was there – I grabbed these:

MUY MUY delicioso! They would be very dangerous if I ever brought a bag home to our house!
When we walked in door – everything was already hoppin’! There were vendors with cool stuff EVERYWHERE!

Kristin was a fabulous host and basically greeted us at the door with a glass of wine! Gee – twist my arm!

I thought the martini centerpieces were super cute – just had to share!
There were tons and TONS of cute jewelry and purses and sunglasses!! I could have very easily done some serious damage to my bank account, but I tried to show restraint!! My Mom bought me a necklace for Christmas (that I plan on begging her for this weekend so I can wear it in San Fran!)

You better believe this foodie made a stop at the only food table they had! (I was so sad there was only one!)

Isn’t that little cookie precious?! It tasted just as good as it looks!!! (please ignore my man hands
)
The company is called Sweet and Simple Cookies by Annemarie:

and all of their products looked fantastic! Check out their website if you have a chance – they have some truly adorable (and delicious) stuff!

The only purchase I actually made – was from this stand - Sophia’s Bead Bazaar:

This little girl (probably about 10) – basically made her own business, putting all this intricate bead work on spoons! And as if that is awesome enough (hello – I think this 10 year old was more business savvy than me!) - she donates part of her proceeds to the local APL! A smart little girl, who loves animals, who is selling a perfect “tool” for a foodie? How could I resist?
I was torn between these 3:

The final choice:

Isn’t that adorable? I can’t wait to use it in oatmeal!!!
I didn’t get home until after 10 – but by then I was starving since I never really ate dinner, so I whipped up (what is it with me and that word this week) a wrap with cannellini beans, and cheese:

Served with a pickle (with numbs removed –
)

Whose got fun plans for Halloween?
Mike and I officially have no fun plans because I’m in full on stress mode with getting ready for San Fran (so much to do before I go!!!), as well as getting things all tied up at work before I’m out for 2 days – and Mike has a TON of school work!
Not sure when we turned so boring!
Entertain me with your fun plans!

In typical college student behavior – probably going out drinking, but not dressing up ’cause I’m supah lame and never thought about a costume!

I want to get a little oatmeal spoon. so many blogs give me oatmeal spoon envy. I am sure I would eat more oats if I had a cute little spoon!
I don’t know what hub and I are doing for Halloween. we didn’t initially make plans cos I figured he would be at the office all weekend, but now he is free (!) and now we are scrambling to figure out costumes!

That event looks like such a great time! I never get to go to fun things like that, at least around here I don’t. Nick and I have ZERO fun plans for the weekend, we’re so pathetic. My friend invited us to a party tomorrow night but it doesn’t start until 10 pm! I told her that’s sort of late, I mean, I can barely stay up until 12 so what would be the point?? We’ll probably still go though, instead of being poops.

What a cute spoon! I think I’m the only blogger in the world who think it’s strange to eat oats with a tiny spoon. I love eating them with a regular size spoon. I feel like I’d miss out on a lot of the flavor with a tiny spoon.
I think you have ghosts on the brain because I don’t see a ghost in your PB! haha. Maybe I’m missing something though. I see shapes in all sorts of weird things though. I swear that a stain on my wall looks like an elephant so don’t feel too crazy. haha

What a fun event with all of those vendors! I’d have to leave my wallet at home
I looove Halloween! Only problem here in Philly (not reallya problem haha) is that the Phillies are in the World Series and playing tomorrow night!! Going out with the boyfriend and friends, dressed as Popeye and Olive Oyl, probably to watch the game first and then DANCE!!

San Fran will be worth it
I have dinner plans with friends, kind of a weird way to spend Halloween, but its the only day we can all get together to celebrate a b-day.

I love those spoons! And I love even more that a clever little girl is doing so much good with them!
No big plans here. We’re going to a friends house to have dinner and to give out candy to their trick or treaters.

oh, love those sweet little spoons! This Halloween, I’ll be handing out treats to the first trick or treaters at our new house! I’m pretty excited about that
Our treats: we bought kid friendly sodas like root beer, sunkist and sprite–it’s all part of my quest to be the cool house on the block. Plus, that way I don’t have any leftover candy lying around. lol! We’re also having some of our siblings over for a pasta party. Yay!
P.S. I know you’re super busy, but check out my Firday post if you have a sec–I posted your awesome package finally. Thanks again so much for the exchange–I love every morsel you sent, and you were so, so generous. Have a great day! xoxo

lovin’ the oatmeal spoon! a very good purchase!
this weekend: lots of pumpkin – making pumpkin gnocchi from Ohio City Pasta for dinner tonight (gotta figure out a sauce recipe still), handing out candy and hitting up a friend’s costume party. I’ll be cleaning and organizing on Sunday – getting ready for vacation myself!

Such a cute spoon! There’s an event like that in NYC that’s so much fun – but yeah – you can do serious damage. It’s difficult to show restraint – esp. if there is wine!
My week was super stressful so plans this weekend are not that exciting – just dressing up and going out to a bunch of bars tonight.
