Friday – I was just SLIGHTLY slow moving due to my wonderful night on Thursday!
The one and only way to fix that? Spicy oats (sadly, made with the only supplies I actually had for spicy oats – spicy PB)
Delicious, nonetheless!
When I was packing my lunch – I wanted salad, but didn’t want it to be boring. Then I remember I had one of these left in the freezer:
Oh yeah! So this boring salad:
Turned into this delicious meal!
I snacked on some more Newman’s Rounds all morning – and all afternoon!
While I’ve been busy with work – Mike has been just as busy with school, so we’ve barely been able to see each other this week. I took Lando on a long walk after work, figuring Mike wouldn’t be home until at least after 8, but on our last lap – I noticed his car in the driveway!
What a nice surprise!
Not wanting to waste any of our quality time together cooking (read: another excuse to add to my growing list as to why I’m “over the goal” for the Thanksgiving Challenge) – we decided to grab something from Penn Station (an AWESOME sub place in the Cleveland area).
My favorite part – their “Boardwalk Cut Fries”
The only way to eat them is topped with LOTS of vinegar and ketchup!
For my sandwich – I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu (the picture below doesn’t do it justice, but it was AMAZING)
then…
I fell asleep for the night, on the couch, at 7:45pm. Yes, I am ABSOLUTELY that cool!
Wanna know what makes me even cooler? I was more sad about missing Dateline and 20/20, then falling asleep before 8pm on the weekend. Need more examples of my coolness? Just let me know!
Now – I’m off to watch MICHIGAN get their BUTTS KICKED! Sorry Michigan bloggie friends – I still love you, I just LOATHE the Wolverines. I was born that way – I can’t help it!
HAPPY SATURDAY!
