My Little Monster

Cute, like My Little Pony; Terrible, like a Monster.

Things are crazy great at work right now – but there just aren’t enough hours in the day for me to get everything done that I want! :(   So for now – I  give you just a small piece of my day, to tide you over until regular blogging can resume!

I’m lucky enough to have a laptop for work, so that when things get crazy (like right now) – I don’t have to be in the office until 11pm at night.

Exhibit A:  (okay – it’s partially a picture of the laptop, mostly just Lando looking cute and innocent)

Nice right?

In order to use the laptop from home – I need a keyfob to access all our “top secret” work stuff.

Exhibit B: (the numbers have been covered to protect their identity)

Lando doesn’t like when I don’t pay attention to her.  She’s spoiled rotten.  So – to get my attention lately – she has been jumping up and stealing things off the coffee table (dimes, nickels, highlighters, jump drives, papers – yes, these things are all on our coffee table), then looking at me, as if saying “CHASE ME!”

Me working a lot at home + mischievous/bastardly Lando= Exhibit C: 11.12fromupload 003

Sometimes, you just have to laugh right?

Luckily enough – the tech guys at our company are SUPER COOL and got an absolute kick out of the fact that 20lbs of dog could make a keyfob look like that.  They hooked me up with a new one right away – but still…

Welcome to my life.

OH NO! Reminds me of my yoga mat. Or when our dog growing up chewed a hole in our barbecue propane line and almost blew up our house. If you want to punish Lando, you could always send the rascal to my house :)

oh mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Lando! Frank hates my laptop too.

[Reply]

Oooohhhh Lando! Bailey and Chief prefer to lay on my laptop when they aren’t getting attention!

[Reply]

haha! ‘hi, um, my dog ate my keyfob. can you fix it?’ she’s totally telling you that you’re working too hard ;)

[Reply]

oh, Lando! So funny :)

One of our old dogs chewed up my glasses one time.

[Reply]

Oh no! I’m glad they were able to fix it right away for you. My old dog used to put his paws on my legs when I would get up from the couch, like he didn’t want me to leave. Dogs are the cutest things!

[Reply]

Oh. My. Gosh! You’re right, you just have to laugh at that stuff. I can’t believe a tiny dog like Lando could do that! hahaha. Glad it all worked out :)

My dog polished off her SECOND pair of my favorite black Priva tennis shoes I wear everywhere. Yes this is the second pair of the same shoe she’s eaten through. Argh.

I can’t believe Lando did that in such a short time.

Dogs can’t live with em, but can’t imagine life w/o them!

WOW!! Such a tiny dog, so much damage! I bet you can’t really get mad at that sweet little face though! :-)

Chase Me is the WORST GAME EVER!! Sorry little Lando-bean has been a problem child lately ;) She’s still a cutie!

[Reply]

hope she does not get sick

If you want something to cheer you up – I’ve got a giveaway goin’ on at my blog (although, the product up for grabs has coffee-table potential, so I don’t know if you want to give Lando the temptation…:D )

Andddd, at least she doesn’t eat cat poop/leave half eaten cat poop on your bathroom floor. (Not that McKinley EVER does that or anything…nope, not him.)

Dogs are funny like that! lol

Ugh, I definitely agree with the more hours in a day thing. I’m thinking we need at least 28-30. And that’s crazy Lando destroyed that key thingie! At least you got a new one no prob. I hope you have an awesome weekend!

[Reply]

Awww your pops is so cute. Jay and I totally cracked up at these pics :)

[Reply]

So funny! I wrote a lab report for class recently, that my cats worked together to rip to shreds! It wasn’t funny at the time, but now I laugh. They’re too cute to stay mad at!

[Reply]

Wow, that is an impressive amount of chewing. I’m going to have to take tips on you about dog-proofing the apartment!

[Reply]

LOL! I can totally relate!! My lovely furdaughter has torn up countless things: remote controls, pillows, couch cushions, blankets, shoes, on and on and on… :) Good thing she’s so stinkin’ adorable and sweet!!

[Reply]

OMG – I have an 8 month old puppy who participates in the same types of destruction! Glad to see I am not alone, but I definitely feel your pain.
