Sup Homies!

It’s been brought to my attention (Hi Timmy Ferg!!!) that my “male demographic” (all 10 of you – thanks!!) may be offended by greetings like “Hello my beauties” or “Hello my lovelies”. I sincerely apologize. In the future, I will do my best to great ya’ll in a non-gender specific fashion. How’d I do today?

So things are back to normal(ish?). I really have to laugh at myself…. I think I know why I don’t travel more often. It takes me at least a week to get back into the swing of things! I mean – seriously? A week to recovery from a 4 day trip? Lame!

So in order to get you caught up (and to remind myself, that this is, in fact, a food blog, and not just a blog where I post pictures of: my awesome trip & things Lando destroys – let’s recap this week!

I ate:

Ice cream – always a good idea to help you get back on track after a weekend of indulgence:

My butter friends:

Diet Coke (“Holiday” cans are out!! That makes me ):

Randomly scraped together meals with what is left in my fridge:

PB&J that made me think “Stink Eye”:

Rice Krispie Treats with Reese Pieces (pronounce Ree-cees Pee-Cees):

Pasta Slim Eggplant Parmesan “thing”:

PB Jar Oatmeal with candy bars (again – the definition of “healthy”)

One normal meal!!!!!

Immediately balanced out by a mass amount of Red Vines:

Washed down with some beautiful Christmas Ale when I got home (MY FIRST OF THE SEASON! OHHH HOW I MISSED YOU CHRISTMAS ALE!)

and then yesterday, proceeded to eat out, not once…

…but twice.

Ya win some, ya lose some, ya know?! Here’s to next week!

Tomorrow – I promise I’ll have a normal post up – as well as an update on how the Thanksgiving Challenge is going over here in the GDW household!

For now, I leave you with a picture that cracks me up. My friend Ang came over to bake – and Lando spent roughly 40 minute – right there. Silly pup!

YEAH!! YOU GOT SOME!! I’m happy for you. Nick and I have already gone through two six packs, in one week. Good lord, that’s bad. We can’t do this all through the holidays!

I agree with you about traveling. It takes me a week, if not more, to get back in the swing of things. It’s usually worth it though!

Hahah I always wondered what I could do with those little bread imperfections, but it looks like you’ve found a wonderful way to make up for the hole! hhahah I am also a fan of your candy oats. It is definitely hard to get back to a normal routine after being away. I don’t mind the Lando posts. Food is great and all, but cute puppies and kitties really get me!
