Since I’m trying to hold on to the the idea that I am ACTUALLY participating in the Thanksgiving Challenge – I ‘ve been trying to be good about going to the store this week.
Which means – I’ve had to get creative with breakfast, and dig into some of the pantry staples that have been hanging around for a while. I give you: Hungry Jack!
This packet was 78 cents, and it made 15 pancakes – not bad right?

I topped mine with Smuckers Blueberry Syrup (this was my first time trying it – I did NOT like it – it tasted like I was pouring melted candy all over my pancakes) – and I finished the rest off with disgusting amounts of delicious spray butter!
Lunch: Salad. Enough said.
For a snack – I broke into my Newman’s Salted Rounds Pretzels, and my most favoritest PB EVER!
Aren’t they the cutest shape ever? (Yes – the shape and cuteness level of your food DOES matter)
After work – I had a 6pm “meeting” – aka Happy Hour with my wonderful Yawp girls:
We went from seeing each other every week, to barely passing each other once a month in the hallways – so we decided we should get together, so we could all visit and catch up. Oh yeah, and drink.
I ordered Sauv Blanc, of course!
It really was great to catch up with these wonderfully ladies! None of us work together on a daily basis (okay – except me and Ang) (and honestly – probably wouldn’t be friends if it hadn’t been for Yawp bringing us together) – so this happy hour was just what the doctor ordered.
Eventually – things came to this: (great idea Angelina!
)
Followed with more of this:
and it’s safe to say it was all down hill from there!
Thanks for a fabulous night ladies!
Happy Friday everyone!

GO Buckeyes!
Do you stay around for the holidays? I’ll be in Cleveland for a few days over Thanksgiving, but we will mostly be in Chautauqua. I’ll be back for a while for Christmas – let me know! I am determined to get a meeting planned

Sav Blanc is my favorite. You need to visit Atlanta sometime; we’d have a ton of fun.

Yay for the spray!!! (of butter). Oh my gah–I am so jealous every time you bust out that spicy pb.
I was just thinking, it is so great that you like the people you work with and can engage with them on a different level. That is so valuable! Have a great Friday babe! xoxo

Haha I am sooo a spray butter junkie. It’s my weakness, but I have no shame
It’s too good. And Newman’s pretzels are the BEST pretzels. I totally have to try that PB, too.
Haha, even though I don’t follow football at all, I gotta stand by my home-state Michigan. What can I say, I was raised to hate Ohio State
Have an awesome night, girl!

What a great way to start the weekend!
I love pancakes with blueberry syrup! I’m not a fan of maple, but real blueberry is the best! You just have to find the real stuff, instead of the overly sticky, sweet kind. Try thawing some frozen blueberries, mashing them a bit, and adding sugar. Mmmmm!
