Christmas #1

This year – we have 4 Christmases.   1 with Mike’s parents, 1 with my parents, 2 with extended family!  Yesterday we got things under way – and headed out to Mike’s parents to see them for the holidays! 12.18upupload 053For lunch – my boss Kristin spoiled me and bought me Rockne’s (my favorite!!!) because she knew I’d had a rotten week!  Isn’t she the best? 12.18upupload 016

I say this every time I eat one of these Buffalo Chicken Salads – you MUST find a Rockne’s and eat this for yourself.  You MUST!

After work, we headed out to Mike’s parents (about an hour and 20 minute drive) and were greeted by his smiling family – and a wonderful looking table of food!  12.18upupload 024 12.18upupload 025 12.18upupload 026 Lando wanted in on the action:  12.18upupload 027 This was plate #1 – but after the first round – I just gave up on the plate, and camped out at the table so I could eat more efficiently!  12.18upupload 029 My favorite treat of the night – these suckers:12.18upupload 03212.18upupload 031

Have you ever had these before? If not – I do recommend them – they are super tasty (and fun – which always helps food taste better, right? )

We had a great time visiting with Mike’s parents, and Lando had a great time playing with her Aunt Josie (aka – Mike’s parents’ dog – but I’m a crazy dog lady, so I have to call her Aunt Josie! )12.18upupload 033 These two cracked me up all night – they were like 2 little tornados – I tried so hard to get a picture of them – but they just weren’t cooperating!   My FIL try to help out: 12.18upupload 036 12.18upupload 03512.18upupload 037 12.18upupload 038 12.18upupload 039 But they both refused to look at the same time!    Hey – we tried!

Lando was a nice Granddogter (as my MIL calls her) – and offered to help with the dishes:12.18upupload 04512.18upupload 043 12.18upupload 046

Can you tell I’m having more fun taking pictures of Lando, instead of food, with my new camera?

Thanks for everything Dan and June – it was great to see you last night and we’ll miss you on Christmas!!!

Hope you are all having a WARM and wonderful Saturday!

It nice to be able to celebrate Christmas several times! We are flying to Seattle on Wednesday (if we can dig out of the snow on the East coast!) to celebrate with my in-laws and then, we’ll come home and drive to my parents’ house to celebrate with them.

Lando is so funny, climbing into the dishwasher!! I have a cat who would do that too for a couple of licks!

Cute puppies! And great that you got to celebrate with his family this weekend!

Haha love all the dog pics! I had to show my mom the pics of Lando as the “dishwasher” so she could see that Sadie isn’t weird for trying to lick her dirty dishes straight out of the dishwasher! Hehe. I absolutely love those Flipsides crackers, they can be so addicting!!
