Sick as a Dog

That’s me.

Anyone know where that phrase came from?  (yes – I’m sure I could google or wiki it, I just don’t have the time to right now.  So if you know the answer, please enlighten me! )

I’ve got no fun pictures for you – because my yesterday looked like this: 12.10upload 017

12.10upload 013

(WHOA MAN HANDS!!!! ) I’ve got no shame.

In more exciting news – Mike said he would buy me a DSLR for Christmas  – so I need your advice!  I’ve done some research on my own, but I’m getting STRESSED out.

REST UP AND HYDRATE, GIRL!! **hugs**

Feel better!
Sorry, no tips about cameras.
I don’t know the reason why but when stuff is bad we often use the word dog like in the dog house, gone to the dogs, raining cats and dogs. Maybe the phrases were coined by people who don’t like dogs! :(

Aww, hope you feel better soon

said it once…alka seltzer orange tablets. wondrous and no medicine head! feel better woman!

[Reply]

Awww, sorry you’re sick…I hope you feel better soon! :(

And Canon Rebel XSI all the way. DO IT!

[Reply]

Sorry you are sick! I know how you feel! ZICAM!!!

I swear it works wonders. I ate a whole box this week. Anyways, I have a Nikon D40 that I really like and my sister has the D3 which is AWESOME [and $$$$]. I think it just comes down to whether you are a Nikon or a Canon girl. ;)

We got one for Christmas too! I wanted it for the baby more than the food, but I am so excited about using it for hte blog too! We went with the Sony DSLR because it got great reviews and my cousin has one. They did a TON of research and picked it so I thought it sounded good to me! Let me know what you go with!
:)

we just got the Canon Rebel t1i, but we also have an older Canon Rebel XS and both are great!

[Reply]

I hope that you feel better! When I’m not feeling well, I revert back to a childhood favorite… drinking lots of apple juice to stay hydrated. :)

I’m still hanging out with my Casio, so unfortunately, I’ve got no advice on the camera front!

[Reply]

No camera advice, but I do have feel better advice. Drink lots of tea with a tbsp of South Comfort every time you have some. Works like a charm.

[Reply]

I hope you feel better! I’d get the Rebel from Costco…it comes with an extra lens that you’ll want!

[Reply]

SOUTHERN comfort. oops.

[Reply]

Get better soon!!!! No recommendations as I’m currently trying to decided between different ones as well!

[Reply]

get better soon!!! I have no recommendations, because dslr’s are far too fancy for me!

[Reply]

Cailtlin (healthy tipping point) just did a big post on her camera- check that out- and feel better!!

[Reply]

nikon d30000000000 is the one we have :)

feel better jerk!

[Reply]

We’re a canon family (Chris has two and I know Erin has a Rebel), so just get the best you can afford and take a lesson! I take better pictures with my point and shoot because I have no clue what to do when Chris hands me his camera :)
Feel better soon missy! I would feel sorry for you but I didn’t get to go to Mexico for T-day, so I’m bitter. :)

[Reply]

Feel better soon! Lots of rest and fluids.

I am in the market for an SLR too so all of these tips are helpful!!

[Reply]

Nooooooo!!! Get well soon! Here’s a tip: don’t buy Walgreen’s brand liquid nighttime cough syrup, it gave me nightmares!

[Reply]

I’m right there with you, cold wise. Yuck!

I got a Nikon D5000 before Thanksgiving as my early Christmas present and I LOVE it! I went into the store all set to buy a Canon but really liked the Nikon better. I’d really suggest going into the store (a camera store, not Best Buy) and handing them to see which one feels better/more comfortable in your hands because that’s what solidified our decision. Good luck!

[Reply]

dude. i have been chugging airborne all day. F getting sick! feel better love!!!

[Reply]

i’m with mama pea… canon rebel all the way! get the best one you can afford and then learn how to use it (take a class, totally worth it)
if you’re like me… it’s an instant love affair!!!!!

feel better!!

[Reply]

Sorry you’re sick! At least you have an adorable puppy to cuddle with and make you feel better!! No advice on the camera front, only jealousy that you are getting one for Christmas!!

[Reply]

so sorry you are sick girl! REST UP!

[Reply]

Feel better.

I was just talking to a cousin of mine who is a photographer and she recommended the one that you have pictured – the Rebel XSi. I’m trying to figure out the difference between the XSi and the XS though.

[Reply]

ugh! I have no camera advice, but I’m thinking of getting one soon too =)

I suggest zicam – it works wonders. feel better!

[Reply]

We are a Nikon family. I have the D60 and I love it. LOVE. Good luck. And, get well soon.

[Reply]

I have the Canon XSi and I love it. My brother has a Nikon and it’s good too – but having shot pics with both I find the Rebel a bit more user friendly.
Whatever you choose it will change your life blogging wise – of that I am certain. :)

[Reply]

*squee* ZOMG you get a new camera?!! You are teh awesome! I’ve had tons of luck with canons (all point and shoot, nuttin’ fancy) so if I were to have the chance to snag one, I would probably go the canon route.

[Reply]

I LOOOOVE my friends Canon Rebel T1i. Obsessed with it. It’s super easy to use from what I’ve tried/heard so far! Hope you’re feeling better!!
