I mentioned yesterday that I had a new place to review:
A Cookie & A Cupcake, in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland
The store front itself has only been around for a little over a year – but the owners have a combined 20 years in the pastry business!
I’ve heard great things about A Cookie & A Cupcake, and had been meaning to stop for quite some time! Once my Mom’s birthday rolled around (she is one CAKE-LOVIN’-LADY!!!), I figured it was the perfect time to test out their cupcakes!
They have 12 flavors to choose from (check them out HERE!):
and it just so happened I was looking to purchase a dozen – lovely how that works out!
The loot:
I thought this Strawberry cupcake was the prettiest:
and their “Signature” was the cutest:
You know I’m not a “sweets” gal, so I politely declined any taste testing, but my Mom & Dad, along with the help of Mike and Angelina did some serious damage to this dozen!
Verdict: Two thumbs up! Everyone liked the cupcakes, and were surprised (in a good way!) that each of them had a filling in the middle! If you happen to be in the Tremont neighborhood – I would definitely recommend taking a second to check out A Cookie & A Cupcake for yourself!

Not even a nibble? I’m not a sweets girl much either, aside from deep dark chocolate (and brownies!) but I do dig some gourmet cupcakes. Yum….so maybe I am a sweets girl after all? haha.

Both of the cupcakes I had were AMAZING. I approve the Grasshopper and the Peanut Butter.
