Can you read the message??
Not sure how those 2 munchkins got on the plate!
For lunch we had a long distance party with our New York office – Lunch via teleconference!
(Yes, we are cool like that!)
It was my sales rep Alex’s birthday, and it was so nice to see the NY Office’s smiling faces!
(I really wish we were able to work together in the same office!)
My lunch: Buffalo Chicken Salad (made with Morning Star Buffalo Wings)
with a side of pickles, and by side, I mean entire jar. I’m not joking. I ate every last one.
I have a pickle problem.
(and NO, I’m not pregnant!)
Dinner was even weirder than my lunch combination – started with 2 oranges:
Finished (or so I thought) with a grapefruit:
Then I passed out on the couch watching 20/20 (side note: John Edwards is a dirt bag – I called it from the very first second I laid eyes on…maybe 2004…the VERY SECOND I saw him I said he is a skeevy dirtbag. I’m not even joking – I remember looking at his face THINKING he looked like a womanizer – MAN – I MUST SAY – I am almost ALWAYS right when it comes to my instincts on people. Yeah – I’m gonna end my side note rant talking about how great I am.
)
Anyhow…
I was startled awake by the dogs freaking out because someone had rang the doorbell. Turns out Mike had ordered pizza after I passed out. In theory – I should have just gone upstairs to bed, but in REALITY, I begged Mike to share 2 pieces of pizza with me and he did!
Nothing like 2nd dinner at 11pm at night!
Random question/poll:
Do any of you keep your extra/leftover pizza in the oven?? (Oven turned off OF COURSE!)
This idea was so foreign to me 5 years ago. I remember the first time one of my college roommates did it – I just thought they were super drunk the night before!
In my house growing up – leftover pizza always went in the fridge!
Turns out – Mike grew up in “oven” house – and now he’s converted me! I’ve never been a fan of cold pizza – but I LOVE room temperature pizza (or actually – any food room temperature – how weird is that?)
So what are you – an oven or a fridge house?

You love pickles more than I do! I didn’t think that was possible. Did you just throw the nubs back in the jar after you polished it off?!? Haha! I honestly never thought of not refrigerating leftover pizza. Interesting. I don’t know if I commented about it before, but I love your new layout. Very pretty!

I think John Edwards looked too perfect to be taken so seriously. He’s such a dick! The affair, the abortion request, the cover-up, and now the sex tape? It’s like the Tiger Woods scandal, Washington style.
Pizza in the oven….gonna have to try that one!

Never heard of storing it in the oven, but doesn’t it go bad in there? Since it’s off, it’s not hot enough to keep it cooked and keep bacteria from growing. And obviously not cold enough either! Temperature danger zone!! haha. I just don’t want it going bad and you gettin’ sick!!

I had never heard of the pizza thing until my roommate did it in college also! I always fridge it because of the cheese. I don’t feel right leaving cheese un-refrigerated.

Oven. I grew up with it in the fridge, but Future Hubby leaves it in the oven.

TGIF!
Nope, never heard of leaving pizza in the oven! Although we do leave a bunch of baking trays in there. And then I forget they’re there and preheat the oven with them inside.

LOVE the new blog look! Really fabulous! I adore all things pickled and often stand at the counter to finish off a jar.

I don’t usually have left over pizza! But if I do, it goes in the fridge. Never would have thought of putting it in the oven.

I’m a fridge house!! Don’t like cold pizza, I always heat it back up! But it doesn’t seem “right” to me to keep it in the oven! Funny how you grew up totally influences your adult decisions!

I always put leftovers in the fridge but I prefer pizza in general at room temperature. I prefer it at room temp. over hot even. Oh sweet, sweet pizza, it’s been too long. I miss you!
Love the new layout.

I am for sure a fridge person. And I am soooo jealous that you got to eat an entire jar of pickles. Did you drink the juice when you where done? Bc that is something I would do ( I know I have a problem). =)

We always put it in the fridge, I never knew of someone putting it in the over either! Weird!
And I’m addicted to pickles too…for some reason, when I crave salty things, all I want are pickles!

TGIF =)
I can also down a whole jar of pickles – it scares me, but there are also worse things than a jar of pickles, like a whole bag of chips!
I have never seen people keep pizza in the oven, but then again we don’t order pizza very often

Definitely a fridge household. It always goes into ziplock bags or containers…
OMG if I ate an entire jar of pickles I would be so swollen I don’t think my rings would come off lol. Sodium overload!

I saw awhile ago that you don’t eat the nubs, so I figured the most convenient place to put them was back in the jar!!!!
Also, I grew up in Baltimore (where the fitbloggin conference is) so let me know if you want any insider information on Bmore (assuming you didn’t also grow up there, haha!!!!).

Pickles! I can’t believe you can eat that many. I know if I eat too many olives or pickles I get a horrible stomachache.
Also, I want to try those morningstar farms buffalo chickn wings now. Sounds tasty, especially on a salad.
And I keep my pizza in the fridge like a civilized person.
