Yesterday was a GOOOOD morning!
Lucky for me, Kristin the newly engaged girl, decided she should treat all of her friends to bagels in the morning. Seeing as it was SUCH a special occasion – I was in NO position to turn down a delicious EVERYTHING bagel!
It takes a lot of work to not eat a bagel every morning – SOOOO good!
Lunch was more of that G.D. chicken salad that just won’t leave me alone the last of my chicken salad leftovers from the other day, mixed with broccoli and lettuce:
and a side of DIRTY chips – I dare you to find me a better chip. I DARE YOU. (Please interpret that as an open invitation for you to send me free chips everyone. Thanks.)
Continuing on my winter citrus kick – I had my first grapefruit of 2010 as an afternoon snack!
I know some people don’t care for grapefruits because they are just too sour (perhaps my obsession with them says more about my sarcastic personality than my actual taste
) – but I just LOVE this fruit.
Although…I don’t just eat it. I pick it apart. Like SERIOUSLY dissect it:
Dinner kind-of-sort-of never happened…
I ran home from work to get changed because I had my volleyball league playoffs super early last night – and was then right back out the door.
I stopped at Target after we sucked, and lost our game, just to grab deodorant, and walked out $150 dollars poorer.
Two of my more shameless purchases being:
Hey – we don’t have cable – we watch a lot of DVDs, and I really miss Food Network. Don’t judge!
The second being my all time favorite laughable attempt at dinner:
I just can’t say “No”
Last but not least – because I haven’t done it in a few days – look at this cute pupper picture Mike managed to get:
How can you not love those faces?!?!?! I don’t care how horrible a day I’ve had at work – I come home, and I’m instantly happy!
RANDOM HELP REQUEST:
I need blog help! Lately (this has nothing to do with the new site design) my text is either wrapping really funny, and on top of the pictures, or I need to have like 2 feet of space between my text and pictures. Anyone have any tips/tricks to fix this so it’s just a normal space between the text and pictures??

$150?! Now that’s just downright impressively bad

Oh been there, done that at Target. And Costco. I’m sad the closest Target is 30 miles away, but then again I probably save a ton of money!!

I love spending my life savings in Target. Seriously, ALWAYS happens to me. Good thing the closest one to me (since I live in East Nowhere) is an hour away.
Puppers are super cute as usual..
Do you use a blogging program like Windows Live?

Ok, I have to admit that even though MY dogs are the cutest cuddlers, those two are fo sho the second cutest ever! Have you ever made dip using fat free or light sour cream and a package of Knorr veggie soup mix? I do that ALL the time to cut calories and then add my favorite veggies or chips for dippin’ action. I too am a chip-n-dip dope addict.

What a great looking lunch. I love that you put the salad on top of broc and lettuce. Fabulous idea. Sorry you all lost your game
Those puppers are adorable. Today is Frank’s Birthday!

Everything bagels are the best. And so is that onion dip. I could eat onion dip by the gallon, I think.

I had the same text problem. Do you use Windows Live? If you center your photos that sould alleviate the problem.
Also, you should try Good Health Chips. MMMMM…good@

Target does the same thing to me – I go in there for a couple things and walk out spending no less than $100! So worth it though, I love that place. I’ve never had the Dirty chips, so I’ll have to hunt them down and see if I agree

Target literally takes all of my money. I have to just assume I’m spending at least $50 when I go in there; most times more.
Wish I could help ya on the text front, but my technical skills are limited to suggesting Windows Live Writer. Good luck though!

Love the dinner (Ruffles and French Onion Dip)…that is my “all time favorite”. My husband knows that is one way to make me very happy! Unfortunately we can’t eat it all the time! ;(

I’ve been meaning to tell you that I had a dream a few nights ago that you got a THIRD dog and named it Chester. I don’t remember much else than thinking, “That girl be crazy! 3 dogs?!” It had a face like Lando & Harvey and was spotty like Harvey, but was brown/black instead of brown/white. Totally random, I know.
