Remember that Ludacris song where he goes: “Whatchu GOT IN THAT BAG?!”
I couldn’t help but think that over and over again yesterday as I drove over to my parents for New Years Dinner:
I roll with wine in my purse. What can I say?
Wine in bag, I also made a stop at Starbucks because I definitely didn’t have enough coffee considering the amount of wine I drank the night before:
Every year that I remember (that I’ve lived in Cleveland, not been too hung over, or been home for the holidays
) – we’ve always had a pork & sauerkraut dinner with my parents, and my Mom’s parents. I wasn’t about to pass up the offer this year!
There were actually TONS of tasty appetizers because my parents had a rockin’ party on NYE!
Me & Teeny Tiny Granny
Brother Timmy, ready for the OSU/Oregon game! GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure why the boys got special treatment, but my Dad made some spicy sausage/kraut combo that looked and smelled delicious, but was for “Boys ONLY” – whatever!
Green Dog Dad was sportin’ his Buckeye gear too!![]()
The rest of the delicious food:
My Dad insisted on sticking his hand in the first photo – so I told him as punishment I was putting it on the blog!

Grandma & Grandpa (words can’t even describe how sweet they are, or how much I love them!)
Me and Green Dog Mom being silly with our hoods
Want to know the perfect end to a fabulous evening with my loved ones, and a delicious meal? A BUCKEYE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even more cool news I got yesterday? My best friend Meridith got engaged! CONGRATS MERI, I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!
(Meri is on right, my friend Sarah, on the left, also got engaged a few months ago!!
)

What a fun evening! Congrats on the OSU win! The game turned out to be much more exciting than all the pre-game experts thought it would be.

First things first, i loovveee Luda!!! hahaha his songs are so silly but awesome. Secondly, although i was very sad that usc was NOT in the rose bowl (a tradition!), I watched it and seriously got the chills when Ohio won!! I prob should have rooted for the pac 10 team but Ohio was just sooo passionate and really deserved it, haaa never thought I’d be one to almost shed a tear over a game!

I’m actually a Beaver fan since I went to Oregon State for grad school, but I was watching the game with a bunch of Ducks secretly hoping for the Buckeyes to win since the Beavers and the ducks are rivals and I am from upstate NY anyhow! Just don’t tell any of my friends that
Go Buckeyes!
