What’s that saying about the grocery store?

The past year marked the start of a special relationship for me.  A love affair actually.  Between me – and Mariani: 1.20 016These suckers are part of their new “Flavor Sensations” line – and I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to try the CONCORD GRAPE JUICE FLAVORED Cranberries!

Can you think of a better time than this?!  (yes, I just referred to an empty jar of PB as a “time” – you’ll need to deal with it!)1.20 022

Add in some chocolate chips, and a scoop of fresh PB from the new bottle: HEAVEN!  (optional side dish:  Mike’s important law school person notes)  1.20 025 I HAD to run to Target yesterday at lunch – and I ended up leaving my desk at noon – with my stomach already growling.  Hindsight, I should have at least eaten a z-bar or something before I left…

But I didn’t.  So this happened:   1.20 035Lunch appetizer of Red Vines, part of a well balanced diet!

Since our grocery supply is still hurting (hence why I was trying to run to Target on my lunch break) – my lunch was sad, and more processed than usual:1.20 037Never looks as nice as it does on the box!  But I must admit – sometimes “processed” – tastes DELICIOUS! 1.20 036Snack – another “new to me” flavor of PopChips – that I must say – I ENJOYED ALOT!!

1.20 038

I came home to 3 lovely things – all awaiting my arrival:1.20 031and an empty fridge! :(   I wanted to get my 3 mile training run over and done with – so I made a dinner that would please any boy: (except my husband who is appalled by my use of pieces of bread for hot dog buns…) 1.20 028 2 turkey dogs.  So exciting.  1.20 030As soon as I finished my run – I hopped STRAIGHT into my car and sped up to the grocery store so I could get some food before they closed.

Now THIS is a fridge that makes me happy!

(Although, it may not be the cleanest fridge in the world, seeing as one of my canines is going to town on the door…)

1.20 033 1.20 034 Funny (long winded) story…

(I apologize for those of you who saw on FB or Twitter).

I forgot how “fun” potty training can be with an adorable pupster. Lando (who can definitely be a monster when she wants) was super easy to train because we had her from when she was about 8 weeks old!

My darling girl Harvey – is a different story!   She is a wonderful rescue, so she comes from not the greatest of situations.  She is trying hard on the potty training (Bless her heart, as my Grandma would say) – but she just keeps it “coming”…

Last night – we let her outside so that she could poop/pee after she ate.  She was out for about 5 minutes (she’s smart enough to pound on our back door when she wants in), and then we let Lando out.  A few minutes later, Mike got a whiff of something foul…and walked into the living room… to find… poop on the couch and pee on the floor.   I mean…sometimes, ya just gotta laugh!

I feel your pain!!! Our couch is falling apart after washing the upholstery covers so many times. Thanks to Charley and is repeated “accidents”….he can purposely be a devil like Lando. hang in there!!!

A full fridge is the best! (But an empty one has its perks – good excuse for eating out!)

I love Naturally More! My fridge is always freakishly stocked. I think its a sin.

I love having a restocked fridge! Your cranberry/pb snack is exactly what I would do!

Poor Harvey. She’s lucky to have a very understanding mom and dad!

Yay for a full fridge!

That’s why I love kitties, they are so easy to potty train LOL! I guess it’s just making sure that’s the *only* place they go that’s tricky.

I just realized we both have law school men! I feel your pain…

ooo! mariani – I can’t wait to get that giveaway package I won!

All dogs learn to get potty trained on a different timescale – my dog, a few years old now, still has issues, but i think its more for just attention.

Ugh, we have a new puppy that is a terrible influence on our almost 2 year old dog! Now they both have accidents-so annoying!

that pb/choco oatmeal looks amazing! i have an almost empty naturally more jar waiting for me for tomorrow morning..i might have to throw some choco chips in there!

I love red vines, I hope Harvey gets the hang of it, your a good puppy mom for not being mad at her.

We rescued our dog too, but he was already a year old, so no potty training needed – but, you do just have to laugh!!

The red pepper flakes on top TOTALLY make your micro meal gourmet. :) I gotta try that the next time I make my Frozen foods. heheheh

There isn’t much better than a fully stocked refrigerator! On the flipside, finishing things off (i.e. PB jars) is kind of fun!

Potty training!! Ick! We got the Brat in January so she haaaaaaated going outside. We ended up using puppy pads for a few months because she wouldn’t do a thing outside.

I’m so glad your puppies are getting along :)
