One of the MANY fun perks that goes with having a dog (or should I say dogS in our case) – is getting up at all hours of the night if they have to go to the bathroom. 
This little love muffin woke me up at 4:15 yesterday…

(how can you stay made at that FACE?!)
But – I had a 6 mile training run to get out of the way, so I figured since I was already up – I might as well stay up! 
And honestly – I’m glad I did, because on the last mile of my run, it started to snow – and over 24 hours later – it hasn’t stopped since!
Since I was up BEFORE the crack of dawn – I had time to actually make breakfast – so I whipped up spicy oats:
I was out of egg but got tricky and switched in some spicy PB!
Lunch – a bean, veggie, fruit medley 
Followed up with a z-bar and some PB:
I originally had plans to go out last night with my girlfriends, but those got cancelled – which I was bummed about UNTIL – I came home, and realized I had a husband who was Law Review Note free, meaning – we could go out on a date! 
We went 3rd Place, pub right down the street from us and got a few drinks:
and then got sucked in (read – I forced Mike 
) to play Megatouch:
then got the food “to go”! 
Pizza/boneless wings/subs might not be the healthiest dinner, but I didn’t care because it was SO NICE to have my husband back! 
Just when I thought my day couldn’t get any beter… 
I finally got my shirt from Stove Monkeys (that I won thanks to Alicia!)
OBSESSED! I was so excited to finally get it – I’m already wearing it to work today! (and I already got 2 compliments on it!)

Wait – you went running outside in the dark & cold at 4:15?? I am very impressed. I can get my butt to the treadmill in the dark and cold, but not on the road. I am luck to have a lazy dog who has to be dragged out of bed most days.

We had to get an automatic feeder that we could set to go off every morning so that the kitties wouldn’t start pawing at our faces at 4am. It has been a life saver!
