I’m leaving on a jet plane

HAPPY SATURADY!   I am so glad it’s the weekend!

Yesterday – I decided I was so sick of PB&J toast for breakfast – I had to do something about it – so I came up with this:

Creative, right?    Still it was a nice change of pace!

I didn’t even bother to pack a lunch since I had been convinced to eat Rockne’s the day before – I still had MY VERSION of a buffalo chicken salad in our work fridge.

This was good – but no Rockne’s!

When I got home from work – I was excited to see another package waiting for me – from the Foodbuzz Tastemakers program!  Seeing as soy sauce is one of my all time favorite condiments – I can’t wait to use:

Kikkoman’s new Citrus Seasoned Dressing & Sauce – LIME!

I was a little sad to see that it had leaked all over the place… :(

But after close inspection of the bottle, it didn’t seem to have a chip, it looked like the leak had occurred around the cap – so it was salvageable!  I can’t wait to cook with this stuff!

I was supposed to go shopping after work, but work ruined those plans :( so instead I went home to mope that I had to miss out on some quality girl time – and reheated some leftovers:

Because Mike quickly grew tired of my moping always knows how to make me feel better, he suggested we go get some ice cream – I happily obliged!

We went to Mitchell’s (my FAVORITE!) and I got vanilla frozen yogurt with M&Ms!

Dear Mitchell’s – PLEASE START CARRYING YOUR MINT BROWNIE FROZEN YOGURT YEAR ROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!2.6 049

and then I passed out on the couch by 9:15 – super exciting huh?   I might be turning 28 soon – but I act more like a 70 year old!

As for right now – all our Kongs are packed, we’re ready to go:

We’re headed off to Austintown to see our friends Brian and Stephanie!   Have a great weekend!

Isn’t Mitchell’s awesome??? I just had their new coffee cookies and cream yogurt and it was amazing!!! Their yogurts are seriously just as satisfying as full fat ice cream!

Have a great weekend away!

I don’t have dogs, but I’ve heard that those Kongs are the greatest toys!

Two thumbs up for Kong toys! The only toys that my dogs won’t destroy. The Brat may clock in at 15lbs but she shows toys who’s boss.
