~ Sung to the tune of “Pants on the Ground” – but I’ll get to that later!
Yesterday – an old friend of mine who hadn’t seen playing time in MONTHS finally got some action:
My egg poachie, from the lovely Bender!
Combine with delicious Eggland’s Best Eggs (Thanks Foodbuzz Tastemakers!)
Mix in an empty jar of PB:
Spicy Oats in a Jar!
SO.DAMN.GOOD!
Maybe I get so excited for the weekends because I know I can make awesome breakfasts like this!!
Side note: Saying breakfasts – plural – sounds gross, doesn’t it?
I had plans to do my long run yesterday outside, but thanks to 6 inches of snow overnight, that just wasn’t going to happen. And ya’ll know how dramatic I can be about having to run on the treadmill…
Around noon – after putting it off successfully for 4 hours – I decided it was finally time to just get it over with! 8 miles on the treadmill was just as terrible as I had imagined, but I did it!
Once it was over and done with – I was really glad I hadn’t put it off until Sunday!
When I got home – I made a real quick lunch:
FlatOut with my homemade caramelized onion hummus, turkey, cheese, and Frank’s:
After lunch & blogging – Mike and I packed up the dogs, and headed off to Austintown for the night, to celebrate my friend Stephanie’s birthday!
I don’t know if Steph was more excited to see us, or finally get her Mariani samples that she won 2 months ago on the blog!
As for the rest of the night – it was sort of down hill from there!
There was lots of this:
which subsequently led to this:
This morning, I obviously (?!?!) woke up to a hummus spoon, on my boot…
French Onion dip all over my coat… (not pictured, but it wasn’t pretty)
and the contents of Brian & Stephanie’s kitchen table all over the floor…
I’d say that was a successful evening, right?
Thanks for a super fun night Steph & friends – HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

LMAO at the spoon on the boot!!! Wild times!
I did 10 on the TM yesterday thanks to the snow. That is the 2nd time I have had to do that now. It does suck! I brought 3 magazines, ipod & had the news on.

[...] As far as food goes yesterday – I was pretty lame (probably due to the copious amount of wine I consumed which led to me waking up with a hummus spoon …) [...]
