Anyone know the movie?
So – I really can’t believe we are already in the double digit days of March!!!!
Where is this month going?!?! As they days get warmer – do you feel like time goes by faster? I do! That makes me sad because I want the warmer weather to stay around forever!
Quick breakfast:
Followed up by my most favorite snack in the world around 10:
For lunch, as a nice change of pace – I was able to run home – and so was Mike! We NEVER get to see each other during the day, so it was a wonderful treat!
Lunch – Salad with low fat ranch and Frank’s
Once I got back to work – I got “snacky” pretty early – so I broke into some cucumbers and hummus:
as well as another fantastic tasting grapefruit!
Yesterday (as I mentioned) it was absolutely gorgeous out – so when I got home, I took the pups on a nice long walk so we could ALL enjoy the weather!
When I started thinking about dinner – I realized I didn’t have a TON, and so rather than try to follow a recipe – I just kind of whipped something up, making sure to include veggies, starch, and PROTEIN!
I love these TJ’s Chicken Sausages, so far – I haven’t found a flavor I didn’t like!
While dinner was cooking – I did some cleaning – only to discover…
My puppy children had actually EATEN one of my bras.
What? Yeah. Really girls? That’s just crossing the line. Subsequently – “as punishment” - I tried to get a funny picture of them, but they wouldn’t sit still enough for me to balance each half on their heads.
Monsters. Absolute monsters, I tell you.
Once my “starch & veggies” (read – broccoli and red skin potatoes) were done roasting – I nuked the chicken sausage real quick, and got out my secret star ingredient:
Arrabbiata sauce from Mezzetta! (The wonderful people over at Mezzetta sent me a few products to try out, and I’ve been DYING to break into them! If you don’t remember – I fell in love with their Roasted Red Pepper Martini at the Foodbuzz Festival in San Fran!!!!)
Finished product:
Might not look TOO pretty – but it was really good! Just the right amount of spice for me, and the Arrabbiata sauce was fantastic! I can’t wait to cook a “straight up pasta dish” with this sauce!
Thanks for hooking me up Mezzetta! Now – is it too much trouble for you to send a representative to my house so they can make those delicious martinis for me? K, thanks!

Never thought to add ranch + hot sauce to a salad, but I bet that is awesome – kinda like a buffalo dressing?? Yum.

Um, Zoololander!!! Holla! I LOVE that movie! Hey, you changed up your blog format! It looks so nice! I am still following you in my reader, but it’s been a while since I’m jumped over to comment. Had to say something about the best Ben Stiller movie of his career though
Good luck with the 14 miles! xoxo
