Hello you wonderful bloggie pies!
Sorry I’ve been MIA – I did a bunch of running around, and after being disconnected from the internet all day – I figured I should keep it up for the rest of the night! No offense to ya’ll of course
but I spend so many hours in front of a computer (I think I’m addicted!
) it was nice to just get away!
But have no fear – I missed you like crazy, and I have no intention of making disconnected Saturdays a habit!
I’ve got TONS to catch you up on – but for now I’ll keep it short and sweet because I have 2 things I am SUPER EXCITED ABOUT!!!!
1 – I set a PDR this morning – and ran 14 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Dear Mike, Matt, and Tim – stop laughing at my time.
Everyone else – pay no attention to how long it took me
– it was another terrible run like last week, all that matters is I got it done!)
2 – AND MOST IMPORTANTLY – Mike is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He was down in Miami for the ABA Nationals Moot Court competition (which I didn’t want to advertise earlier as I was staying home alone) and I missed him SO MUCH! He’s been gone since Wednesday, and each day he was gone was more and more terrible! I’m seriously so happy he is back home. Oh yeah – and did I mention – HIS TEAM WON 1st Place, AND BEST BRIEF – out of 32 teams. Yeah, he rocks Law Review AND Moot Court. Be jealous ladies, be very jealous!
To celebrate?
We’re making it a Bloody Mary afternoon!
If you are in Cleveland – you are more than welcome to come over – I make a MEAN Bloody Mary! (recipe to come!!)

Big congrats to both of you! 14 mi is a LONG one
Where is Mike in law school? CSU or CWRU? Either way, what an accomplishment for him AND his team! Enjoy your time with him. I know how hard it is when the boys are away for a few days… depressing

You go girl – one of the things I thought about on my 5k yesterday was that distance is distance is distance. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, it matters that you covered that distance. THAT is something to be proud of!!
And Mike must be off the charts brilliant!!

A BIG CONGRATS to both of you! 14 miles is super impressive, and a very big deal!! Running for 3 hours straight is also a very big deal!! Don’t even start to think of being ashamed of your time! YOU DID IT!!! RAH!!!!!
Seriously, I can rock a spin bike or a step, Body Pump, or Pilates class like nobody’s business, but I don’t run unless something scary is chasing me, so I really am impressed/awed by the fact that you went on such a lonnnnnnngggggg run. YAY!
And congrats to your DH, too!! Moot Court and Law Review are indeed Very Big Deals, so YAY and RAH for Mike, too.
And YAY and RAH for Harvey and Lando just because they’re so pupperific!
