Thanks for sharing your fears with me yesterday!
I feel like I know each of you a lot better!
Sounds like a lot of us have the same fears too!
Actually – you reminded me of two more of my own (extremely irrational) fears that I forgot to list:
- getting shot (I’m talking – stray bullet as I walk into a grocery store that’s getting held up, or drive by a gang fight – cuz, you know – that happens all the time with me
) - freak accidents (mostly car related, but I don’t want to rule out any other sort of freak accident)
Go ahead and laugh – can you imagine living or DRIVING with me?
Breakfast was a combo of Nature’s Path Organic Krispies & Corn Flakes:

The cornflakes were another hit! Again – you could totally replace someone’s regular Kellog’s Corn Flakes with these – and I promise they would hardly notice the difference!
Around 11, I was STARVING – so I broke out my homemade guac that I whipped up on a whim last night – and some TJ’s Reduced Guilt Organic Baked chips:
If I’m allowed to pat myself on the back
– I must say – I did a damn good job on this guac!
I think it’s the best homemade version I’ve made yet! I threw in:
- 3 small avocados
- 2 handfuls of chopped cherry tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- lots of Himalayan pink sea salt
- onion powder
- juice of 1 fresh lime
- sprinkle of garlic salt
- sprinkle of cayenne
Lunch (because I was stuffed from all that guac and chips
) – small salad with hummus:
3pm snacks – naranjas & ALL NATURAL fruit roll-ups!
Dinner was delicious – but boringly lame seeing as I’ve eaten Monday and Tuesday night for dinner!

There is something to be said for quick, easy, delicious leftovers, when it comes to my life!
After dinner – I opened a sweet surprise, from the wonderful people at Stonyfield – who, I will say – definitely know that presentation is everything!
They sent me their new Caramel and Chocolate flavored Oikos! How adorable was the packaging?
In cupcake paper?
Absolutely BRILLIANT idea! They definitely have some smarts on the Oikos team!
Review coming soon!
Calling All Cleveland Bloggers!
Alicia and I were chatting the other day, and we thought it would be great to get together and finally meet in person – so, Thursday, April 8th – we are going to grab dinner at Johnny Mangos! Anyone is more than welcome to join!
This will be a more “low key” get together since I’ll still be doing the Cut the Crap Challenge – HOWEVER – I was thinking a fun, “all out” blogger get together (maybe at Parallax? Thoughts?!) might be fun in May!
You know how I love my booze!

Try adding cumin to your guac, it’s the BESTESTTTT. P.S. jealous of your Stonyfield treat!

I LOVE the new caramel Oikos – it’s been my morning snack all week!
Do I count as a Cleveland blogger? Not sure? Anyways, I think the 8th would work – I teach until 5:30, so let me know what time and I’ll see what I can do. I’ll probably be a hot, sweaty beast though!

Seeing all the Stonyfield caramel yogurt all over the blogosphere is getting me excited for when they eventually show up on shelves near me. And good job on the crap free week.

I can’t do the 8th (too hard to make it on a school night), but lets definitely plan a BIG get together in May! Preferably after we run that small race
I’m only doing the 1/2… but still!
