For me, the “perfect” start to a work week, involves a game plan. And yesterday, I had a game plan!
Spicy Oats with 3 egg whites, a scoop of PB, and a sprinkle of minced onions (I’m getting CAH-RAY-ZAY WITH IT, I know)

I think I was actually more excited for my salad DRESSING than I was the actual salad once lunch came around:
Kalamata Olives AND Bolthouse dressing? Can you even go wrong?!
So the salad went from BORING:

to DELICIOUS!
Snack – The best hummus on earth: TJ’s White Bean & Basil + The best pretzels on earth: Herr’s Sourdough Bite Size Pretzels

After work, I ditched P90X
to instead, go support Heather since they were unveiling the new Power release at the gym closest to my work!
I loved the new release (HOLY HELL IT’S TOUGH!) and Heather got some shots of me working it!
I definitely look like one serious gal doing my upright rows!

Class didn’t get out until about 7, so by then I was starving, and I realized that Rockne’s was on my way home…
How could I not stop and grab us dinner?
Buffalo Chicken Heaven

I’m telling you, it’s all in the dressing!
Are you more likely to eat at restaurants during the week, or on the weekend?
Mike and I have gotten really bad lately – maybe it’s the warm weather? But we go to restaurants or order take out A LOT!
EEEK!

We don’t eat out very often and when we do, it is usually a weekend, especially Sunday evenings. We like to go out for breakfast on the weekends too.

Your blog is lovely, but there is no way in hell I’m ever combing peanut butter, eggs, and onions. I would vomit on the spot.

I need to try group power. The times at my gym just aren’t good though
On eating out – we try to go out to dinner once a week. It completely depends on our work schedules though. I try to strategically plan dinners around our work schedules so that we can avoid eating out. Like tonight, I worked until 10 and Joe closed (midnight maybe?) so we made gazpacho! No cooking required and Joe just brought it to work with him
Where do you and Mike go out/order from usually?

I like restaurants on the weekend, but if it’s been a rough day take out sometimes happens during the week too!

Ready for the most random comment ever? Like really, really ready? TJ’s Pumpernickel Pretzels are the best ever. I bought them because of you (at least I think) and I am now an addict. I’m scared to try that hummus…with the pretzels…make it stop!!!!

I am wayyy more likely to eat out on the weekend. It seems like a lot of social events revolve around eating out. During the week I try to be really good and eat/pack at home as much as possible so that on the weekend I can just enjoy my meals out!

Go you for doing that power class – it looks awesome!
We normally eat out more on the weekends, but it is tempting to go out for lunch during the week.

I’m much more likely to eat out on the weekends, because I don’t usually plan for dinners those nights.
I need to try that TJ’s hummus!

They’re releasing the new body pump at my gym next week. I hear it’s really intense–the instructor said she did it without weights and was shaking. I’m ready!
I love eating out on weekdays. It’s a nice break from the week.
