Bad: Yesterday was so crazy, I never got a post up to chat with you!
Good: Spicy Oats in a very FULL jar
![]()
Bad: While snapping my breakfast picture – I realized my basil is getting wilt-y!
I might like the color green, but I most certainly do not have a green thumb.
![]()
Good: I haven’t killed my chives!
![]()
Bad for co-workers, Good for me: Garlicky pickles for lunch!
![]()
Good: Using some of my “thriving” delicious chives on my salad!
![]()
Even Better: Using some of the awesome Lite Creamy Caesar I picked up at Kroger this weekend!
![]()
Bad Good: Gummi Bears for “dessert”!
![]()
Bad: Taking your wedding ring off to see why it’s hurting your finger, to find it’s no longer round, but some weird oblong/globby shape.
![]()
Good: Apples & PB snack
(These were the apples I tweeted about “tasting like applesauce”. It sounds weird, but wouldn’t you agree apples taste different than applesauce?! And I don’t mean texture – C’mon – someone please know what I’m talking about!)
Bad: Getting dragged to Cici’s for dinner
![]()
Good(??): Balancing out my 2 pieces of pizza with a whole lotta salad! Salad actually cancels out the calories in pizza – right?

How about you?! What’s been good for you today, and what’s been bad for you today?

Dangit – I STILL haven’t tried spicy oats! I need to do that soon.
Bad today: the entire morning! Rainy weather, grumpy husband, leaving office keys in the car.
Good today: finding a book I wanted on sale. 3-4 new recipe ideas swimming around in my head. More than halfway to the weekend, and I get to see my nephew!!!

I do know what you mean with the apples, I think I’ve said the same thing before and no one knew what I was talking about! Today has been good food-wise. Yesterday though, office cake = bad news! I was also awful all weekend because I was away in NY = fried food galore!

bad: they cancelled my U-Haul Truck and then to get it I had to spend 45 minutes in an un-airconditioned Charleston storage building (heat index today is 102) with Debbie whose breast (tattoo that was either a cat or a rose fully exposed) rested on the counter as she was sitting down
good: I am now home and because Debbie was such a moron she charged me about 75% less than she should have.

Same: My engagement ring is 100 years old and because i have teeny tiney hands and to save the design on top it was made oblong
the lady said “It’s not like fingers are round anyhow”. Yours must just be taking it’s natural shape
Different: I loathe all things gummy.
I know you asked good/bad, but what the heck!?!

How in the world did you manage to bend your wedding ring so much? Stop beating so many guys up!
Good: My house is halfway packed.
Bad: I had to wait at the DMV for over an hour to renew my license. Ugh.

I honestly have no idea – I took it off and just stared for a little while – like: HMMM, what exactly have I been doing?! Sorry about the DMV!

Yes! I have had apples that taste like applesauce. It’s so weirdly delicious. I wonder if the sugar content has anything to do with it?

My whole day was in between-not good or bad! So actually I guess that’s good, nothing bad happened!
I have to ask where this Kroger is located that you speak of? I’ve never seen on around here & I wanna go!

My engagement and wedding rings have become slightly oblong also! Luckily they do not hurt my fingers.
