Not THAT Lucy!

THIS Lucy!
That’s my co-worker’s dog who came in to visit us yesterday!
Her bed (that she prefers over her fluffy pillow bed)– A CARD BOX! She has the sweetest, timid-est personality – I just wanted to take her home!
Breakfast: How do you make high protein spicy oats when you are out of Morning Star sausage?
![]()
Just add a scoop of PB!
Lunch: Leftovers from last night – with an added sprinkle of Daiya mozzarella and a splash of hot sauce!
Snack: Pumpernickel Pretzels (I seriously forgot how much I LOVE pumpernickel!!!!!) with TJ’s White Bean & Basil Hummus – AMAZING!
Last night Mike and I had a prompt 6:45 start time for P90X, so since I didn’t get home from work until ALMOST that time, I went the frozen route.
1st time try:
Morning Star Sweet & Sour Chik’n
![]()
Ready in 4 minutes!
Verdict: Not bad, but not great. It was a pretty typical frozen dinner. I’d say it’s good in a pinch, but I’m not sure I’d stock up on it!
After getting our asses chest & back handed to us by Tony Horton (OMG I swear the 1st DVD was an hour of push-ups!)
followed by a HOT 2 mile walk outside with the pups – I was ready for something cold.
Something cold, that perhaps, had been off-limits during the vegan challenge!
Spoon Me is a new all natural frozen yogurt place I’ve heard amazing things about!
Best part – the 4oz serving (pictured below) only has 83 calories!!! (NOT including my toppings!)
)
Plain is just not my style though!
So I added a few extra calories by topping mine with:
- Nilla Wafers
- Raspberries
- Mango
- Kiwi
FAB-U-LOUS!!!!!!
Spoon Me is about a 15 minute drive from my house, but I’m totally okay with that – it was WELL worth it!

I Love Lucy – that first Lucy lol! used to watch her shows when I was young (OMG! it’s so way back). That 4 legged Lucy is very cute too! How come my dog doesn’t sleep in her bed? She likes the floor more! Must be the weather huh!

Your meals look delicious, especially the frozen yogurt.
Completely random, but I was wondering what wine goes best with pizza?
